Import my Firefox data into the brand new Firefox installation what a bit scary.
If It would fail, I'd loose lots of precious info. (bookmarks, add-on, links, password, setting, etc etc)
The File >Import silently failed
This is the quick workling solution to import data from Firefox 3.5 to Firefox 3.x
a) close firefox
b) open a shell
c) cd ~
d) cp -Rvf /path/to/my/old/home/.mozilla .
e) open firefox, where you'll find all your setting back to work
